Home Up Train History Oral Histories Pueblo Histories Archeology The Lost Grave

The histories presented in this section are the result of written research and oral histories. Not being a formal research project, we have not documented our sources; however, a list of references will be prepared as this work progresses.

Unfortunately, much recorded history was lost during the war of the revolution. (yes, Pancho Villa and his troops visited the area). Other important Church histories and individual histories have been destroyed by people who did not know their worth. Still, these histories give a valuable insight into the past and are being modified to reflect new progress.

We appreciate any contributions that can be made to these pages and are especially anxious to locate historical photographs.
