Los Terreros to Batopilas Leaving Los Terreros, we descend steeply to the community of Cerro Colorado named for a nearby prominent red mountain which contains an abandoned gold mine. Then it's steadily downstream until we join the confluence with the Rio Batopilas. Here we see the aquaduct built to supply water for the electrical generator in Batopilas. A short distance later we are in town.
