Hotel to Temoris

The dirt road from the Hotel to Temoris is well traveled and usually in good condition; however, do be careful during heavy rain. We made the trip in two hours on ATVs moving at a moderate pace. A truck or SUV would take about an hour longer. Temoris is a large, clean town that was originally devoted to mining. There are a selection of hotels, restaurants, and services. The town celebrates the day of its patron saint, San Miguel, with a multiple day fiesta in late September.

0.0	Reset odometer at 35.7 intersection, go left .6 miles to gas station.
0.1	Left turn leads to beautiful lookout over the railroad and Temoris station. The road is less traveled than the main road and goes steeply uphill. To find the turn, pass a playground on the right then take the left. Distance from the turn to the lookout is 1.8 miles. Well worth the time and a good place for a picnic.
0.6	Gas station to get to railroad station continue ahead keeping to the left and going downhill at any major intersections
