We are trying an experiment - many of the
places we have visited just do not show well in one or two photos. Canyon
overlooks are an obvious example. As time permits, we are trying out virtual
reality panoramas. It's a method that allows you to see the scenery as though
you were there. To view a scene, you will need to install Apple Computer's
Quick Time® viewer
on your PC
- a free (but large - 30Mb) download.
To view a scene, click on the scene name
and allow it to download. Once the image opens, place your mouse cursor inside
the image. Left-click and hold while you drag the cursor to pan through the
scene. For dial-up users, the downloading process will be slow (sorry!).
We will be adding more to our presently
limited selection. Let us know what you think - and enjoy.
